{ This project began when our dearly departed friend 'Tommy Turtle' first ask on InformAction forum to add a tinfoil hat to the smiley list. Giorgio did not have sufficient experience with phpBB or time to mess with it. I compiled a temporary list of icons from various sources and hosted them as a way to provide cosnistent, reliable and lasting links; in the hopes they would be integrated into the forum's default list. Once the number grew too much to be feasible inside phpBB, we decided to make it a separate project. It wasn't until a discussion with barbaz, since project was dormant due to Tom's passing, a personal decision was made to update, improve and streamline it. The project was given an interface since previously it was just a directory listing for better visual and usability improvements. The project is continually improved, tweaked and coded to improve functionality, clean code and better usability. New icons are contributed and the code is constantly tweaked as needed to make improvements. }
